Visit the Calvary Taos Church Tent as the Town of Taos proudly invites the community to enjoy the cherished Movies on the Green 2026 Summer Series at Kit Carson Park. This beloved summertime tradition brings neighbors, visitors, and families together for evenings filled with outdoor movies, family activities, and community connection under the beautiful Taos evening sky. The series will take place on select Wednesday evenings from June 3 through July 22, 2026. Come by the Calvary Taos Church Tent and grab a free Bible, Gospel of John, Treats, a Bottle of water,  and meet our team. We would love to answer your questions or just simply pray with you! 

Please note there will be no Movies on the Green events held on July 1 or July 15.

In the event of inclement weather prior to 5:30 PM, the event will be moved indoors to the Taos Center for the Arts (TCA).

Guests are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy the evening atmosphere before the featured film begins at 6:00 PM. Guests are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic baskets for a relaxing evening outdoors. This free community event is alcohol-free and designed to provide a safe, welcoming, and family-friendly environment for everyone. See you there!

Relax and Refuel in the Lord at 6:00 pm on Thursday Evenings with our Summer Outreach Bible Study Series at various locations around town.  Bring your Bible and lawn chair and enjoy verse-by-verse study through the Books of the Bible.  6:00 to 6:30 pm is a relaxed time of refreshments, friends, and fellowship.  At 6:30 pm, we open our Bibles and together discover the profound lessons for our lives revealed in Scripture. Everyone is invited and welcome!  Here are the upcoming dates and locations for the 6-week series: 07/30 Taos Plaza, 08/06 Taos Plaza, 08/13  we will have an outdoor Barbecue, Fellowship and movie night  at Calvary Taos to close our summer series.  Refuel will pick up at Calvary Taos for the remainder of the year. Sunday Morning Worship Service.  Our service begins with  a time of praise and worship singing to the Lord, followed by a  verse by verse, expository, Bible Study through the Bible with Pastor John. We provide children’s Bible study classes and infant care during the teaching portion of our service. Teaching begins at 10:00 a.m. and lasts 45 to 60 mniutes.

Our Sunday Summer Outreach Series will be held at Taos Plaza on Sunday Evenings at 5:00 p.m. (weather permitting). The series will last 5 weeks. Invite someone to join you, bring your Bible and lawn chair, and enjoy a time of friendship, refreshments, and a verse-by-verse study through the Gospel of John. Here are the dates for this series at Taos Plaza:  06/28, 07/05, 07/12, 07/26, 08/02. See you there!

On the last Tuesday of every month, bring your guitar or other stringed instrument and a capo, and enjoy some Christian musician fellowship as we learn the chords and how to play the worship songs here at Calvary Taos.  You must be able to play at least one song on your instrument. See you there!
