“God’s Moral Law Part 2 – Do Not Murder” – Exodus 20 (Audio Sermon)

The final six commandments, codify God’s righteous standards for conduct between one human being and another.  God’s righteous standards are universal and are established in the hearts of every tribe, nation, and people in the world. Absolute moral law, unlike ceremonial law, has no need of special revelation to establish it. God has written His moral law in the hearts of mankind.

Dr. J.I Packer wrote: “Where the law’s moral absolutes are not respected, people cease to respect either themselves or each other; humanity is deformed, and society slides into the killing decadence of mutual exploitation and self-indulgence.”
