Bible Study and fun teen activities.
Join us for our mid-week Bible study with Pastor John Privitt. We are currently studying through the Book of Revelation. Our Revelation Series is entitled “A Message From The Alpha & the Omega”. If you would like to better understand the prophetic warnings, instructions and promises of Revelation, the Big Picture of God’s plan for human history, then join us at 6:30 p.m. Thursday evenings.
Join the men of Calvary Taos for a great time of Christian Men’s Fellowship, Breakfast and Study in God’s Word. It is imperative for Christian men to come together regularly to encourage and brace each other up in the trying times in which we live. Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.” We need the constant sharpening of our faith and knowledge of the things of God to maintain a consistent and steady walk as men of God.
Our wives, children, family, friends and co-workers look to us for guidance, wisdom, encouragement and strength. We must go to the well of God’s word and the Iron sharpening Iron of Christian fellowship to be ready always to serve those God has place in our sphere of influence.
All men are welcome! Bring your Bible and we’ll see you on Saturday!
The Revelation of Jesus Christ is one of the most exciting Books of the Bible! The main topic is the second coming of Jesus Christ. Revelation unveils God’s plan for the physical return of His Son, Jesus Christ. It is the only book of the Bible that specifically promises a blessing to those who read it, hear it and apply it. It is truly one of the most exciting and provocative books of the Bible.
As the New Testament opens with the first coming of Christ, so the Book of Revelation closes the New Testament with the second coming of Christ.
Most importantly, we learn much about Jesus through this study. The Revelation of Jesus Christ leads us to know, love, and worship Jesus more intimately.
“I believe that the understanding of God’s future program fills believers with great anticipation for its literal fulfillment and encourages one to live a life of commitment, godliness, and servanthood.”
