Hello, I am a Volunteer Coordinator for Veterans Off-Grid in Carson, New Mexico. We are seeking support in our mission of housing homeless veterans in eco-friendly housing, building community, and offering a place for them to heal.
We have a hoop house that needs to be constructed, we have started construction on an outdoor kitchen for volunteer use, and we have various other construction projects on the site scheduled for this year in which we will need community support.
We also have an ongoing need for staff support. Please contact me if you are interested in helping us!
I am in need of a handyman for odd jobs around the house. Right now I need someone to hang new interior doors and install new exterior doors and jams. In the near future I will need carpet ripped out and laminate flooring installed. Further into the future I will need part of wall knocked out and french doors installed, a deck built, and a covered from patio built. So, some jobs are minor and some require a bit of construction expertise. Please call or email me if you are interested in any of this work or know somebody you trust that might be. Thank you!
